According to attendees at this year’s Gallifrey One convention, producer Tracie Simpson revealed that pre-production on Series 13 begins in June 2020, with filming not starting until September 2020.

Filming on a series usually takes between 9-10 months to complete, when you factor in post-production. That logistically means the earliest we could potentially see Series 13 would be autumn 2021.
