Peter Cushing’s TARDIS is being sold at auction this month

Lots of pop culture treats are being sold through Ewbank’s Auctions, a Surrey-based company, later this month. The entertainment and memorabilia auction will take place on May 31st, with bidding set to take place in real life and on the web.

The exterior of Peter Cushing’s actual TARDIS is among the items being sold. It was built at Shepperton Studios and used in the 1965 movie Doctor Who And The Daleks. This same TARDIS was also used in its sequel, 1966’s Daleks – Invasion Earth: 2150 AD.   1. There is not a TARDIS prop for any canon Doctor, or Peter Cushing, which has the dimensions of this box. It is categorically NOT a screen used TARDIS. All of the dimensions are WAY off any of the official props, even to the naked eye.

  3. There is no way that this is the Peter Cushing TARDIS prop. The panels & windows too wide, the edging is quake, the Police public call box signs are different colour & the wooden framing too narrow. The Base is thin. It’s a con I’m afraid. This box is based on RTD era box.
