PETER CAPALDI GEEKS OUT AND DRAWS SOME AMAZING DOCTOR WHO FAN ART

The actor shows he still loves the classics in a sweet clip from Doctor Who: The Fan Show.

Peter Capaldi is one of the biggest Doctor Who fans around, and the actor just proved as much by geeking out and drawing some amazing fan art.

He showed off his arty side by drawing amazing illustrations of his favourite Doctors down the years in a sweet clip for Doctor Who: The Fan Show.

First up, he turns his hand to William Hartnell, who he draws in his “iconic pose”, clutching the lapels of his jacket. “He was strange and nippy, and sometimes tetchy, and when I was a child I absolutely loved him. He was and is Doctor Who,” he said.

Next up, he recreates the “loveable and warm and kind” Patrick Troughton and the “amazing, wonderful” Jon Pertwee.

Finally, he draws Tom Baker, complete with the instantly recognisable hat and scarf.

Meanwhile, Capaldi has spoken about Steven Moffat’s decision to leave Doctor Who, jokingly saying that he had to quit or he “might have had a heart attack”.

It was previously announced that Chris Chibnall will take over Doctor Who in 2018, following Moffat’s swansong series next year. There will be no full series in 2016.
