This year’s Official Doctor Who Annual celebrates 20 years of the Time Lord’s 21st century adventures
The next in the long running series of children’s annuals, the Official Doctor Who Annual 2027 will be in bookshops on the 20th of August 2026, but you can already pre-order your copy now.
Of course, the show itself is currently between seasons this year. It’s not even clear who the new Doctor is, exactly. So the newest volume takes a wider brief than the standard recap of the most recent season. It covers the whole of the 21st century era, including episodes and characters from 2005 to 2025, with a cover featuring the TARDIS itself. As usual, the 128 page hardback caters to younger readers, full of games, puzzles, quizzes, and character profiles. At almost double the page count of recent years, this super-sized edition of the annual is sure to contain hours of entertainment on Christmas morning. The new book is sure to once again take its traditional place among the piles of presents under trees across the UK this year.
