David Daker was a British character actor who appeared twice in the long-running sci-fi series Doctor Who. He is best known for his role as Harry Crawford in the hit ITV drama Boon, as well as roles in Coronation Street, Z Cars, and Porridge.
Daker’s notable Doctor Who credits include:
Irongron: The 13th-century robber baron in the 1973–1974 serial The Time Warrior.
Rigg: The captain of a spacecraft in the 1979 serial Nightmare of Eden.
Daker passed away on April 30, 2026, at the age of 90.
