It’s not that we haven’t loved the incarnations of the Doctor since, but there’s something about David Tennant’s turn as Doctor Who that really sticks with us. Yes, still.

Fortunately, David’s wife Georgia – who has more than a few Doctor Who connections herself – has made our collective days by sharing a throwback clip of her and David as the Doctor.

And this isn’t behind-the-scenes footage of ‘The Doctor’s Daughter’ that we haven’t seen or anything, but a video that the couple put together for a friend moving to Australia.

Check out David and Georgia, who is also literally The Doctor’s daughter, and their amazing homemade Doctor Who skit below.

Now that Jodie Whittaker’s paved the way for a female Doctor, perhaps it’ll be Georgia’s turn next? We’d certainly be down for it.

Although it’s been a good few years since we last saw David as the iconic Time Lord, former showrunner Steven Moffatt only recently revealed what could have been if Tennant had stayed on as Five for another series.

“My version of that series would be that the David Tennant Doctor would crash into the back garden about to regenerate, and little Amelia [Pond] would help him back to the TARDIS and he’d fly off,” he explained.

“Then she’d meet him again, when she grew up, but he’d have no memory of that because we come to realise that was the Doctor from the future – we’d make our way through the series to the point where the Doctor gets back to that…”

We know time is wibbly-wobbly and all that, but it’s probably for the best that we let go of the Doctor Who of the past and look forward to the future, which is expected to air this autumn.
